Cruising between cycles

I currently only cycle 1-2 times a year and I only take Test, Decca, occasionally some Anavar after that cycle for 6-8 weeks.

My hormone Dr. told me not to do anything after I am done with cycles and just to immediately go back to my TRT dosage, (200 MG CYP weekly) not cycling down or anything of that nature.

I was just curious how everyone else does it and if what I am doing is pretty common.

Thanks in advance for any input.

That is pretty much what I do. If I am running a short ester (test prop), I will start injecting my cruise dose 3 weeks before the cycle ends. Otherwise, I start injecting the cruise dose at the end of a cycle if I was running a long ester (test enanthate).

I run Test E or C for TRT.  I used to go just 150mg but I found I preferred 250mg a week on TRT.

If you feel good at 200mg Test C for TRT stick with that would be my advice.

I felt a lot better at 350 =) That's the dose that made me feel 25. More of a light cycle than TRT but feel a big difference between that and the 200 I run for TRT. Thanks for the info!

I know lots of people who cruise at 350mg. I know people who cruise at 500mg. They do this because of receptor sensitivity, sheer mass or mental weakness. Bigger guys probably need higher cruise doses to maintain their mass. No studies done on that that I know of. I hold 255 with abs in the offseason on 250mg and food no problem.

Just keep in mind these are serious competitors and are willing to risk the health issues associated with elevated testosterone for long periods. Not sure if you are or not. But it’s worth knowing that long term elevates test levels are linked to heart disease and death.

There are ways to feel good on a TRT dosage. It’s relative.

How many of you guys get your rbc count monitored when cruising at high doses. I monitor mine through regular blood donations. Last year I cruised, but really it's technically cycling at 350mg ew to bridge my cut cycle into my bulk cycle. For the first time ever I was denied donating blood because my rbc was too high. Concerns for rbc count being high is stroke. I also had high bp caused by high rbc count. Definitely not a good combination.

I don't give blood routinely unfortunately, tho I know I ought to. Sometimes I can just tell when it's elevated, or at least I think I can tell. Once, when I felt it was high, I went to give blood and lo and behold I was just shy of the cut off.

I'd like to add a little bit of info to the discussion that I happened upon quite accidentally. My wife's dad ended up in the hospital due to, in short, cirrhosis of the liver. Almost died. My wife, who was very concerned, began researching things related to his condition, and while we were watching a YouTube video in the subject, the researcher briefly discussed how a poorly functioning liver can be a root cause of high blood pressure. Since the blood is filtered through the liver, if it is not functioning properly, the blood basically gets backed up in the liver thus causing high blood pressure. This notion gave me pause since many of our kind use compounds that are quite harsh on the liver, and it got me wondering just how much the use of such and the consequent damage caused may in fact contribute to high blood pressure in our "community." The researcher noted that many, if not most doctors giving treatments to patients with high blood pressure never consider treating the liver to ameliorate high blood pressure. He believes, like many of us do, that doctors rather sell more symptom relieving drugs than attack the cause, which is often less expensive and require little to no medication (think TRT for example). One change he mentioned, besides cutting alcohol, was reducing processed foods, and sugar. The liver has to do some serious acrobatics to deal with the large amounts if sugar most people consume. Anyhow, just something to chew on with respect to the issue of high blood pressure.

I keep tabs on my RBC by donating blood as well. Have never been refused yet. My Hemoglobin has been high on blood work but just borderline and that was after 600 MG test 300 deca for 12-14 weeks. Usually I only cruise around 200 though so maybe that's why it's not too high.

I was cruising at 200mg of cyp for a longtime in between cycles! I did keep alot of my gains, but noticed I was weaker in strength at 200mg a week of cyp then when I'm all natty! My body runs better at my reg natty test level than 200mg of cyp a week I supposr! Soo I decided to do a little bro science to come off totally & it worked!
I switched from 200mg of Cyp to using 200mg of Suspension a week in four 50mg doses. With a shot of HMG 150mcg every week for 4 weeks. Then I droped it to 150mg a week in 3 50mg doses. I noticed my Balls hanging super low & full size! I was shocked!! I kept it at 150mg a week for a month & then dropped it to 100mg a week in two 50mg doses & still blasting 150mcg of HMG a week. Then stoped cold turkey!
It's been a month natty and all is good soo far! Having sex a few times a day & only lost a little of my cuts! Still at the same body weight(but not as lean) & strength is good!
Lets see what happens in the next 3-4 months! I plan on being natty for 4-5 months before I start a nice BLAST! The reason I used HMG is because I picked up a bunch on sale and I couldn't get HCG. I think I like it better for PCT & coming off cruising!

Very interesting! Don’t get me started on the reasoning for treating symptoms over causes.. Makes me angry-a symptom usually has multiple prescribed options where as a cure is usually only one.

Case and point..
Depression, erectile distinction, cholesterol. How many prescriptions can we write for these? An SSRI, viagra, a statin perhaps???

Oh wait a low dose of testosterone usually alleviates all three!! Only $50 a bottle??! ‘How are we ever going to make money this way?’(big pharma prics)
