Hair shedding during pct?

Hi all, So i ended a 12 week test cyp cycle. The cycle went well, no hairloss, made good gains.

I started my pct with 1000 iu hcg eod for 10 days (with 20 mg nolva ed) After stopping the hcg i added in clomid @100mg everyday for the first week and then down to 50mg for the second week.

I Think im shedding hair more than normal, i'm noticing hair in the shower when i wash my hair about 10-15. None of it comes out in clumps its just a few hairs at a time accumulating. No one in my family is bald and i have really thick medium/long hair.

I'm just wondering if something in the pct protocol could have caused my hair to shed, will it stop after i'm off the drugs? thanks

Hcg could cause hair loss since it increases testosterone. But obviously test can cause it too. Nolva and Clomid do not cause hair loss.
Maybe u noticed some hair loss because you had high test for a long time (12 weeks test + 10 days hcg). As an option….

That’s probably it, I’ll have to re access in a few weeks. Thanks for the insight

I think you’d better contact your doctor about that. I’m not sure I would advise you on anything particular. Each body is unique, so it’s very complicated to recommend something that could help you.

I have the contact information of the hair center. A close friend of mine works there, so she’s helped me avoid the hair shedding. I guess they could help you too. Here’s their location. Anyway, keep us updated on your issue. Best wishes to you all, folks.

It's possible that the changes in hormone levels from your PCT protocol could be causing you to shed more hair than normal. However, it's also possible that your hair shedding is just due to your natural hair cycle, and it should go back to normal once you're off the drugs. I would recommend going to a dermatologist or hair specialist to get a more accurate diagnosis. It is not always useful to use active substances without professional supervision.

It's not uncommon for some hair shedding to occur during PCT, as the body is adjusting to the changes in hormone levels.

However, it's important to keep an eye on the amount of hair shedding you're experiencing. If you're noticing a significant increase in hair loss, it may be worth consulting with a hair loss specialist, SPAM But, in most cases, hair shedding should stop after you're off the drugs. Keep monitoring and take care of yourself!

Get yourself some Finasteride brother. It won’t work as a magic cure but it will certainly slow the process and potentially thicken hair too.
