Rafael Cordeiro (born June 1, 1973 in Curitiba) is a Brazilian former Muay Thai kickboxer and mixed martial artist, now a trainer at Kings MMA in Huntington Beach, California, United States.
As a fighter, he was affiliated with the Chute Boxe Academy and competed in both MMA and Muay Thai. He was the Brazilian Muay Thai champion and as well as the International Vale Tudo Championship lightweight champion. After his retirement from competition, he continued to coach at Chute Boxe and trained a number of world champions and contenders including José Landi-Jons, Anderson Silva, Wanderlei Silva, Mauricio Rua, Murilo Rua and Fabricio Werdum. However, he left Chute Boxe in 2009 and founded Kings MMA in Huntington Beach, California, United States. He continues to train a number of his former student in Brazil such as Wanderlei, Maurico and Werdum, as well as new students like Jake Ellenberger, Mark Muñoz and Jason "Mayhem" Miller.
