Plain and simple Heavy weights build muscle

I've done both heavy weight low reps and lighter weight with more reps and I have seen great gains using both even when natural. Now I use a mixture of both my heavy sets are for my compounds such as bench press squats rows etc in my personal opinion to see the best results you need a balance of overloading the muscle and using correct slow and controlled form. Always aim for a better workout than your last wether it be an increase of 1kg or using same weight and doin a extra rep you will always progress and see results. But also remember diet is 90% of your routine it's the hardest part of any program

I agree toon. I am actually working on a program for my next cycle that includes strength training on the 3 major lifts, combined with hypertrophy training. I am excited to try it out and got the idea from this thread :)

Some are now getting trained, one woman has really stood out, she works crazy hard and her intensity seems to increase weekly. She came in with a belly, it's flat now.
