Protein powder is just a tool to make it easier to hit your protein goals. I used to down numerous protein drinks inbetween my 6 meals a day of meat, sweet potato, and broccoli. I'm cheap and don't drink it anymore, but I encourage them if you can afford it.
My favorite is MP Combat Protein Cookies and Cream with a scoop of peanut powder mixed into unsweetened almond milk. It is like drinking a desert of oreos and reeses peanut butter cups! I used to stretch it out with an unflavored organic whey because it was so sweet. I don't wanna pay the kinda money they are charging now so it's meat and eggs for me now.
