Starting my trt journey

So I've decided to go the trt route for the same reasons most men do..honestly I knew this day would come eventually as I've run a lot of cycles and was pretty wreckless with it...

I started this trt journey about 3 months ago..first thing I did was contact a few local clinics, but they were way over priced..I'm on a monthly fixed income so I'm sort of limited..that's when I decided to just do my own trt....

During that same 3 months I started dieting and exercising on a daily basis. I've been able to lose 30 pounds..about another 10 to 15 pounds more to lose.

So over the next few weeks I'm going to schedule my blood work..continue to diet and exercise and hopefully drop some more weight..

Here's my trt protocol that I plan to start with mid January, 125 of teste each week broken up into two doses Monday and Thursday ..run that for 6 weeks then have blood work done..and adjust from there..

Also here are my current supplements that I'm using
Nac
Tudca
Super b complex
Saw palmetto
Prostate health
Multivitamin
Milk thistle
Fish oil
Adding 15mg of zinc and 1mg of copper this week..

A little about me. I'm 56 years old,5ft 10 about 205lbs....been off of gear for 2.5 to 3 years...

Looking for some feed back on my approach?
How does that trt protocol look? How does that supplement list look? Anything I should add?

Thanks in advance for some feedback...

Welcome brother, feeling good is what it’s all about. Most doctors and their protocols are bull shit. My doctor had me on 100 mgs test c and I was at 1300 and felt like shit but my number was too high and he was going to lower it😂. I settled in on 200 mgs per week and felt great. It’s definitely on the upper end of true trt but I never looked back. My test is high but all my other numbers are within range. Best thing I’ve ever done for sure. My cruise is a little higher than 200 now with a little deca mixed in for joint pain. Don’t really know what it feels like to be 52 years old 😂.

We have a great group of guy’s here and they will help you along the way. Thanks to test we are going to be a bunch of jacked old dudes 👍

Drop the prostate health and take 5mg Tadalafil a day. This is for prostate blood pressure and libido.
Up zinc to 25mg for low E2 or if you get high E2 50mg. I went back to 25mg because it’s working for me. Sone people need 75mg a day or they take AI
I been on doctors prescribed gel then self medicating TestE and now on doctor prescribed TestE. My trt doctor knows I play and told me he wants me on prescription testosterone

Hello there. Your plan looks fairly good but as you can see (from other members' statements) it highly depends on how you feel. you may need to adjust the dosage. Also, have bloodwork every once in a while to see where you're heading

Appreciate the advice.. I'll track down some 5mg Cialis and get on it.. will pickup some extra zinc in case I need to run a higher mg.

Welcome MuscleDad.
Your supplement list looks very good.
I would only suggest Vitamin D3 with K2.
Vitamin. D3 is actually a prohormone, not a vitamin and it helps hormone balance...useful with TRT....and the K2 helps combat arterial calcification which is something D3 tends to do.
And also just a blood thiner or vasodialator of sorts to combat polycythemia.

Any recommendations on a blood thinner?

Wow tons of info there.. I just registered..lots of reading to do..
The person who made it had aids. 30 years I think he had been using steroids and helping aids patients to stay alive with steroids.
Everyone should be a member of the forum and research what every compound is used for

So far my brothers have killed it with information. Another reason I really love this place!
Theres only 2 things I want to add.
First is, water! Water, water, water and more water! I don't know what you're daily diet is but you should be drinking at least a half gallon of water every day. a gallon would be better. you will be amazed by how much it will help joint pain and weight loss.
The other thing that I don't think I've seen was any talk about combating high estrogen sides.
While they should be pretty mild on a low dose of 125mg trt, they aren't impossible.
Having a bottle of Arimidex on hand is a very good idea.
Witch brings me to part 2.a (🤣😂)
Are you a beer drinker? If so... beer and trt can cause more severe estrogen sides. Beer contains phytoestrogen and prolactin. So if you drink beer and trt puffy swollen nips can definitely be in your future.
Other than that it looks like you have a solid starting point.
Dosages might have to go up or down in the future, but for now you definitely seem to have a solid grasp on what you need to be successful.
I hope you stick around and keep filling us in on your trt journey. It really is a life changing experience!

Oh... I guess I have 1 more question... not that we can share sources on here, but have you found a reliable source to buy from?
If not, PM me and I'll be happy to give you a few options from sources on here that we all have bought from... several times. I just got enough trt for a whole year for $200 bucks.

Only take nova or Arimidex if you're having high est sides. Water retention, puffy swollen nips, acne (but acne isn't always a reason to take it) low sex drive.
Usually adex, Nolvadex and clomid are only taken as needed. If you need to take it constantly, it should be low doses.
I recommend taking Arimidex over Nolvadex for high estrogen sides. It just works better and faster.

But what if any sides are you having?
If you want to PM me or start a new thread so we don't high Jack the new guys.
