This is just a quick reference chart and a full description of the compounds can be viewed by clicking on the compound name. Oral steroid notes
Not all oral steroids have the same amount or level of hepatotoxicity (Liver toxicity) and full understanding of the compound and its associated sides are mandatory before considering use. Oral steroids that exhibit more liver toxicity than others are advised to be used in the range of 4 – 6 weeks, while others can be utilized in the range of 6 – 8 weeks.
Oral only cycles are usually considered by those who fear needles but one must understand that oral steroids are not designed to be run by themselves since they act as supplementary a compound. A solid base compound, such as testosterone, should always be used with oral steroids and one should neverconsider running an Oral Only Cycle* (See footnote below)
Injectable Steroid notes
Proper injection protocol is very important and knowledge of how to prepare an injection, where to inject, and how to inject is absolutely mandatory. Failure to exercise good injection techniques can result in an abscess infection which will bring you a world of misery. Terms
Anabolic steroids - A synthetic steroid hormone that resembles testosterone in promoting the growth of muscle. Known as anabolic-androgenic steroids (AAS), are drugs that have similar effects to testosterone in the body which increase protein within cells and aid in the development of male characteristics.
Androgen - is the generic term for any natural or synthetic compound, usually a steroid hormone, which stimulates or controls the development and maintenance of male characteristics.
Anabolic & Androgenic Ratings - Anabolic and androgenic ratings are based on the steroid Testosterone, having an anabolic rating of 100 and an androgenic rating of 100, is the base line rating in which all other steroids are measured. The higher its rating is in a particular category the higher its anabolic/androgenic rating.
