Been in a casino twice... didn't spend a dollar. Arguably the most bored I've ever been. Looking around and seeing all the sad people.. going through their pockets and wallets looking for money they know they don't have. I felt bad for them.
I never gamble... I don't even buy scratch tickets. I prefer to hang on to the money I earn.
I however do bet on mma fights with buddies... but we don't bet money. We'll bet... like cutting your hair to a mullet. Running around the block naked... wearing a pink thong to work... shit like that. I honestly don't see the point of gambling. Especially when you know you're not gonna win. Absolutely blows my mind.
Especially those muppets I always seem to get stuck behind at a gas station who will spend $20 a day on quick picks and scratch tickets. Then in the next breath complain how they are broke. No fucking shit dumb dumb... the state taxes the shit out of your paycheck... then you rush to the gas station to give them the rest. Instead of giving the state $20 a day... take that $140 a week... and put in a envelope. At the end of the month (depending on the month 😁) open that envelope and pretend you won $560!!!
But no... every day I see a line of people who just can't wait to pay the idiot tax.

Been only once. Just for the sake of knowing what's like to be a in casino. Wasn't tempted to spend anything. Never did.
although gambled when I was young and stupid like 10 years ago. Horse races. Lost about $50 if i remember well, got out of there and never wanted to come back. I can't understand why people keep turning back where they lose money.

I'm not a high roller; I'm more like a casual player
I feel you! Casino adventures once a year for me, too. I'm not a high roller; I'm more like a casual player at online casino games. Roulette's my jam; the slow burn with those dollar chips is oddly satisfying. Football playoffs? Yep, I turned my bets into donations, too. Share your gambling tales, folks!

Once-a-year casino adventures sound like a good rhythm. And being a casual player makes it all the more fun, right? Roulette does have that oddly satisfying slow burn, especially with those dollar chips!

So, I'm not a regular at casinos, but last summer, I stumbled upon one during a road trip. I decided to give poker a shot. Let's just say my poker face needs work! Lost a few bucks, but the laughs with friends made it worthwhile. Now, I get the whole casino allure - more about the experience than the winnings. Any tips for a poker newbie like me? Thanks!

I live in Las Vegas. So the temptation to go hit a casino and blow some money is always there. I’ve had little stints where I’ll visit the station casinos and gamble from time to time.
Slots & Sluts I call it. 😆
Always some horny sluts in the casinos.
I was working on a project out here last winter and making like 10k dollar paychecks every two weeks. That job actually changed my life for the better. No more living paycheck to paycheck. But there were a few nights I blew a couple grand in the casino. And didn’t give a single fuck about it because I knew I’d make that money back in two days at work lol.
But now I generally stay out of the casinos. And if I feel like spending money needlessly I’ll buy some shit for my dirtbike or some new gear. I have a gear fetish 😆

It's awesome to hear that your project brought positive changes to your life, like breaking free from the paycheck-to-paycheck cycle. Focusing your spending on things you're passionate about, like dirtbike gear, sounds like a great way to indulge without the risks of the casino.
