Ok here's my point with this , I'm gonna be 48, and I can eat almost any thing ,and maintain ,my 31-32 waist ( no sweets tho) what I mean I can load up on oatmeal ,pancakes, chipped beef , and milk for breakfast ,, then a massive lunch 4 or 5 cheese burgs ,, or 4 or 5 tuna or chicken sandwiches , then dinner ,, chicken tenders ,, boneless chick ,mashed potatoes ,veggies ,, then eat a Chinese plate late nite ,, and I continue to get great muscle mass , and maintain a 31 waist, 32 max ,, keep fat off ,and I can maintain ,when training ,,weather cycling or off , 10 to 12% bf max ,, if I fall off traing yes bf will go up a little ,,and I do no cardio, I generally always bulk ,  genetics yes

Don't wish for it bro, by your metabolism won't be so forgiving after the big 50. Enjoy your double cheese burgers while you can :)
