Prostate Care

Hey Guys,

Wanted to remind all of us to make sure we are placing focus on prostate care. Especially with TRT or on cycle.

My supplement of choice is Prosta-Strong by Irwin Naturals. It contains all of the high quality ingredients to support a healthy prostate with no BS proprietary blends.

Thanks for the reminder. I'll admit, I've been slacking in that department. I had been taking beta-sitosterol per swolesam's recommendation (wonder what he's been up to...). I'll add your recommendations to the list.

Proprietary blend should be a word that's not allowed on ingredients listings by law. A fancy word for garbage fillers thrown together is bullshit!

ES,

It was my understanding that all men have a prostate. ;)

Seriously though, prostate care has a lot more to do than just limit the risk of the "Big C". There a several conditions concerning the prostate that can negatively impact our lives.

Gentlemen,

For your information.

Ladies let your men know. You could be doing yourself a favor ;) .....

http://www.webmd.com/men/news/20111006/fda-approves-cialis-to-treat-enlarged-prostate

You can use google to see how effective it is in treating BPH. ;)

Other benefits besides the obvious of cialis is that is effectively reduces BP and increases muscle blood flow making it an excellent pre or post workout addition. More blood flow to muscle cells equals more nutrient uptake. I have used it regularly for several years.

BTW- MG have some very good sources that carry Cialis. I have tested 3 domestic sources here on MG and everyone of them has provided excellent results. If you cannot afford the prescribed version consider a proven UGL.

I have been trying different stuff for a while with mixed results but going to give Cialis a go as a staple. Been reading alot on what you said SF. Cialis seems to have many benefits. Im currently taking stinging nettle root. It does help with good flow.

The published dose is 5-10mg ED.

Difficult to find that small a dose from a UGL. I have been taking 25mg ED for over a year without any negative impact. I spoke with physician (cousin) and he stated that was an acceptable dose for long term use. Because Cialis has a 36 hour half life only take one dose in a 24 hour period.

Some interesting facts concerning Cialis-

1. Long term Cialis use has been shown to significantly improve the testosterone to estrogen ratio by an average of 24%.

2. Inflammation reduction - This is important because plaque buildup in the arteries is largely due to an inflammatory process where white blood cells adhere to and "attack" arterial walls.

3. Been proven to lower high blood pressure.  Original development use. Although it does not dramatically lower blood pressure, it will help most guys struggling with hypertension.

4. In some Cialis may actually act as an antidepressant.

5. A proven and safe track record.

With all medications research is important and I advise anyone choosing Cialis for long term use to first discuss your options with your medical professional.
