Hey everyone! I'm RayRay, I've been lifting for about ten years now and am finally ready to put together a plan for a first cycle. I'm in my mid 30's and have been researching for some time now. So, here is my question.
So many sources say that for a first cycle it is prudent to run a Test E only cycle to see how your body responds to a single compound without the confusion of other compounds. This would help future cycles as side affects arise because it would be easy to identify what changed having a baseline of a Test E only cycle.
However, in my research Sustanon seems to be a better option than Test E only. Here are my thoughts,
1. Sustanon seems to be both faster acting and longer acting than Test E.
2. Sustanon seems to produce less water retention than Test E and less stress on the lymphatic system (this would keep your blood pressure lower than running Test E only).
3. Sustanon Aromatizes less than Test E or Test C.
4. Test E seems to have a higher increase of DHT (around 5%).
So, It seems like a Sustanon only cycle produces the same results as a Test only with the benefit of less water weight gained, less lymphatic stress, lower blood pressure, lower aromatization, and lower DHT levels.
My problem is in my research it all looks good on paper, but I don't know if it always plays out that way in the real world (after all Sustanon is a blend of 4 types of testosterone).
Also, there may be other issues with Sustanon I am unaware of.
Any advice about the pros and cons for Sustanon vs Test E only would be greatly appreciated.
It's great to finally be able to ask questions!! Thanks in advance for everyone's help!
