I was born in 74 in the coal mine and steel mill areas of southwestern Pennsylvania. When you had disagreements, you confronted each other. When you had disagreements at school, some punches were thrown and no one got sued or arrested. I have avoided social media completely and I am so glad that I have. Keyboard bad asses saying things that if said in person would cause the requirement of dental work. I only leave my home to go to work or the store. I set up a basic gym in my extra bedroom and I challenge myself. Our society has degraded so much… every whiney bitch has to be validated. I will admit, I despise that my old man hit my mom, but outside of shit like that I would so much prefer to live in the 70s or 80s compared to today. I work for Uncle Sam and you would be amazed at what kind of “inclusion” shit I have to deal with. I can’t wait to retiere.
We are so scared of violence now and that’s a shame. I saw two guy’s on the freeway the other day get out and go at it for awhile then tired and beat got back in their cars and leave. Much respect for those two individuals for sure.
