Was wondering if anyone else was an addict before? I was a real bad addict for like 8 years and am now over 3 years clean. But find working out and gear usage has become my new addiction. It’s all I think about. I love reading up on all different kinds of gear and their effects. I’m obsessed with this lifestyle now. Anyone else like this???

Yea withdrawals suck. Never had em from Xanax but definitely from opioids. Not fun at all. Glad you’re not in that situation anymore. I know I never want to go back

Does weed count? I’m addicted to steroids.

I remember there were some members that were drug addicts and I remember they reported their life has completely changed since they were introduced to gear. Much "safer" to be addicted to steroids than drugs.
@HulkSmashShan sorry if I make a mistake, but weren't you saying it? (not sure if he'll come back though...)

Hi... Gainz here... I'm a addict. Well I was, for... Idk... Way too long. But sober for 2 years. I fucking love gear... I love Xanax more... But I can't ever touch that beautiful demon ever again.
So now my focus is looking and feeling good.
(Instead of just feeling good 🫠)

started xanax as a doctor prescription?

Not trying to get to deep here, but any addiction is bad; it means that you have to have it in your life to live a "normal" life. However, I believe some addictions are worse than others. Regardless, glad you're doing better my man, and keep up the good work

Yes, I was addicted to opioids and Xanax. Both doctor prescribed. For 2 years I took the Xanax like I should of. But as my relationship got worse... I used it to escape. Them all I did was escape. Then I spun out of control... Taking way too much of everything... All the time.

I actually lost my insurance not long after the problem started. I had to switch jobs. My family owned job was bought out by a much bigger corporation. They changed so much... I couldn't take it anymore.

He wasn't just on gear...
He was on gear... A shit ton of gear, a insane amount of pain killers and a few different antidepressants.
So while everyone loves to say "steroids made him kill his family"
They were only part of the cocktail in his system.
As someone who spent years on antidepressants... They steal your fucking soul. They numb you and your ability to feel emotions... Except for anger... I always had plenty of that.
So take one drug (Xanax) that steals your ability to feel compassion and empathy... And add another (tren) that can cause violent outbursts and intense moments of rage...

lots of situations when people killed others, including their family, without being on roids. they just makes your short temper shorter. but it's the antidepressants and lots of other shit in the pharmacy that fuck up with your mind that make a person capable of doing such fucked up stuff
