It seems like a pretty normal health care plan to me. +/- $1000 annually. I have 3 kids and cannot imagine trying to do it with no insurance. It's not just the birth, you've got 18 years of well child checks, ear infections, etc. Medical costs can get extreme. Not sure if you're employer offers...

Beyond the shipping and communication problems. Any idea if the stuff is fake or under dosed or anything like that?

Its sort of similar to peptides, which I use. If its a common HGH kit you probably got 10 vials of 10iu each. The simplest way dose calculation wise is to mix 1ML of water in the 10iu vial. At that point its just division using the # of IU's in the vial with the # of units in vial. 1ML = 100...
