Lately,, when seen a lot of good posts about ,injection sites ,and breaking in them new sites ,,but a topic I feel needs discussed is ,,avoiding nerves,I feel its a must ,to educate on ,, I'm sure hitting a nerve , will probley be one of the most painful experiences ,we have ,but I believe there can also be permanite damage done . Below is a good like I found useful in educating myself in the nervous system. Myself I become familiar with the diagram and until you become more experienced I'd stick to the more accaesable sites,outer quad,delta,glutes , and always rotate , hope you find this helpful.
