BTC help

I don’t know why I’m seriously struggling to get a grasp of making payment via BTC.

I have coinbase and a wallet but I don’t understand how to purchase BTC in Coinbase for the exact amount of the product I’m wanting to actually buy (say $200 AUD) and then transfer to another wallet.

Can anyone help me out here? Some guidance for dummies

It’s not hard if you transfer straight to the wallet address the supplier gives you.
You need to work out how much transaction fees are and then buy that much extra to the cost of gear.
The website I use tells me how much I’m sending to the wallet so all I do is keep changing the numbers until I get it right.
Not all sites / apps are easy.
