changing time zone for this page

Was wondering if there was a way to changed the timezone that shows up when posts are made. The time says it's like 6pm on post I just made and it's really only noon where I'm at.

For some reason I don't get email updates unless I comment on a post and even then it's not guarantee. I'll see what time it says when I post this right now.
