Dexter sent an email with links and banners etc then said to contact him once this has been done but when I click to message him to link takes me to the homepage?
Your verification is in the process S-R-U. FYI- When sending a PM to any member/mod, you must first send a friend request. If you try to send a message to someone who is not your friend, then by default you will get kicked back to the home page.
