Donated Blood

Donated blood today to lower the viscosity and hopefully my bp a little bit. I did the double red platelet. I know its been talked about a few times here, but as a reminder to the new members its a good idea to donate blood while cycling.

once during the cycle or more you guys think? I guess also would depend on cycle length and compounds being run..

And how did you feel afterwards ?  Weak Dizzy ?  I tend to think not , I actually feel more energetic afterwards.

I felt fine, but I've donated blood many times. That was my first double red platelet though. I like it. She said I can do it once every 4 months.

I'd do it somewhere around mid cycle.

She also made the comment about ohhh nice veins. Lol

Yep, something about a woman saying how big your veins are just makes you have a great day

Did you tell them you was on gear?

Im guessing you have never donated.  Theres a questionaire before you start and it asks if you have ever used hypodermic needles.  You answer yes to any of those and your out !!!

No sir. I got questioned pretty hard about countries I visited in the military and what kind of meds they gave me and how long ago it was.

I even got excluded once because I admitted I had visited Mexico 10 months earlier

I have giving blood before, but never on gear. I was asking because a buddy of mine said thats what he did. I didn't think he did, but I wasnt with him.

The questionnaire asked if I was using steroids. I said no.

yeah something is wrong with his story. The second he admitted to any steroid use they'd have said goodbye.  In any case don't worry about it, it will never come back on you and your blood is possibly going to give someone a nice boost along with saving a life.  You and I both know that, just don't tell the red cross.

He said they like it knowing you have extra red blood cells or something like that. All I  remember is them liking it and something about red blood cells.

They prefer double red platelet, but your iron has to be high enough. Mine was 52. She said ohhh you must eat lots of red meat and green leafy veggies. I said something like that. Lol I wouldn't tell em your doing gear...hate to say it but I think your buddy is full of doodoo. Lol

But you can donate platelets every week I think. I used to donate a lot but it's time consuming and I don't have much of that any more. It takes about 2 hours in and out and usually by appointment.

They told me double red platelet can be done every 4 months.
