Insulin use Pre-Training w/ Fast acting carbs

Hey Muscle Gurus Gang,

I wanted to write and talk about this topic as I've had a lot of success with my use of insulin Pre-Training, utilizing Fast acting carbs with a protein isolate during training. What I detail below is from MY PERSONAL EXPERIENCE using this method, as each person may vary with their results based on their own body's response. I do not recommend this for any beginners that have never used insulin before.

First off, I've been training for 18 years. I started using and cycling AAS 8 years into my training (10 years now). I started cycling insulin 4 years ago. I learned this method from a very well respected individual in our industry (Some of you may have an idea of who it is based on this method). Over time, I modified this method to my liking with the combination of other medications/chems. Below, I will explain how I also time my supplements/chems surrounding my training with my for it to make sense.

My training is always based after my first meal of the day.

Wake Up:

3 IU HGH (Empty Stomach)

NAC

Turmeric

40mg Cialis

1st Meal (30 Minutes post-awakening):

50 grams of a Protein Isolate

60 grams of Rich Piana Real Food Sweet Potato

Pre-Gym - 2 cups of coffee

Arrive to the gym (1.5 hours after 1st meal)

Warmup/Stretch - 15 minutes

Pre-Training:

IGF-DES - 200mcg (100mcg Split into each muscle of the group I'm Training)

NovaLog Flex Pen Insulin (10 IU)

Training:

50 grams of Protein Isolate

105 grams of Unflavored Vitargo (Mixed in with the protein isolate)

5 minutes after Pre-Training Protocol, I start sipping on my intra drink

My workout usually lasts from 60-90 minutes based on the body part that I am training that day. My training is very high intense and mind-muscle focused. I will continue to sip on my intra drink until I finish usually 2/3 through my workout. The PUMPS are absolutely INSANE! My training intensity and energy levels stay consistent throughout my whole workout. I never once feel any kind of crash whatsoever, nor do I get symptoms of Hypoglycemia. I leave feeling like a champ!

Post-Workout:

200mcg PEG - MGF (100mcg Split into each muscle group that was worked - For instance Left & Right Quad)

20 Minutes Post-Workout:

50 grams of Protein Isolate

50 grams of Unflavored Vitargo (Mixed in with the protein isolate)

2nd Meal (60 minutes after post-workout shake):

8oz cooked white fish

1 cup cooked rice

This is the Insulin protocol I use surrounding my workout. the following days I feel a major reduction of DOMS (Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness). I've noticed making tremendous gains in my weak spots from running this protocol. I do, also, cycle my peptides and Insulin without having to explain that in detail.

Other Members, Let me know what you think. Also, if you try this protocol, post your thoughts and results! Remember, be very well educated and always use caution when using any kind of insulin.

Thanks for your input and protocol on your insulin use. I always have to give this warning anytime insulin is discussed at MG. Insulin is only for the very highly experienced aas user. Insulin if not properly used can and will kill you. Insulin imo is for the highly experienced guy looking to get his pro card or has his pro card and is looking for something to put them over the top.

What type of growth has your insulin use spurred beyond aas and hgh?

Are you looking to compete or just trying the be the biggest guy walking down the street?

I definitely agree with Dolf. One has to, actually MUST be beyond disciplined to mess with insulin.  Seems to me that most aas users on sites like this are work-a-day folks who love to train, who thrive on self discipline, and simply want to look and feel good. Perhaps some have a goal of competition, i know of at least one here that's doing just that. But, most are clandestine users of aas, some long term vets, many are new, and about just as many newbs there those that fall somewhere in between. I'll be the first to admit that I'm nowhere near ready for insulin, shit I've a hard time just keeping up with peptide schedule of 3 pins a day! Timing is of the essence.

Thanks Dolf for the added input with the warning that Insulin can totally kill you if not used correctly.  It took me a long time to make the decision to add insulin into my regimen.  I had already competed for over 10 years in the NPC.  Overtime, as certain gains slow down and weak points were more prominent, I had decided that it was time to tap into that extra little push that my genetics would allow.  I made sure that I had utilized most of my gains through YEAR-ROUND dieting, very high-intensity training (w/ Periodization), proper AAS cycling, and HGH use WITHOUT going overboard on heavy doses of medications. I always get my blood work done every 3 months to make sure everything is in check.  As some of you guys will get to know me, I do not condone high doses of AAS nor HGH or any other drug that could potentially F* YOU UP.  I know many pros, top level competitors, that take minimal amounts of gear off-season, and higher amounts for a VERY SHORT TIME when they are getting ready for an IFBB Pro show.  But, most people to this day would not believe that if I told them what those numbers were!

At the time I considered using insulin, I did my homework.  I also consulted with some of the best guys in the business (Will not name any persons so don't ask).  The person that I consulted with I trust 100%.  I took every cautionary protocol starting with smaller doses, moving up any not exceeding 12 IU ever.  I always had fast acting carbs/sugars on hand in case of an emergency.  Note: I actually have a crazy story I'll share with you guys on another post.

Also, my insulin use is just once-a-day protocol.  Meaning, when I am CYCLING my insulin, I only use it during my training time and no other time (NO post meals or anything like that or multiple times a day use).  I was very specific for my wants, needs, and health.

To answer Dolf's Questions, I would only pin insulin in my body parts I felt really necessary to grow to even out my physique (Shoulders, Legs, and Back ONLY).  Not that they were weak parts by any means ... I guess from that stand-point, you can't ever have a big enough back or even legs.  If anything, my shoulders was my weak spot.  I would do one month on, one month off.  After I took my insulin pre-workout and started sipping on my intra carb/protein drink ... the pumps became unreal.  The blood flow into the muscle was so on point, I could feel my fascia stretch.  It was unlike any other pump that I felt before.  I found that 10 IUs was really the sweet spot for me.  I even backed down from 12 which was recommended for me at the time.  Almost weeks later, I started seeing growth in all of these body parts, which were the days I was taking Insulin.  I kept this regimen going for about 2 years.  My natural insulin levels with my A1C from my blood work have always been PERFECT even with this protocol.

For the past couple of years, I have integrated Peptides into the mix with my insulin use, specifically IGF-DES (fast acting IGF straight into specified muscle trained) and PEG-MGF (Post-workout into specified muscle trained).  WOW!!! Insane is all I can say.  Except, now I take my insulin only with one body part per week for 4 weeks on and off.  Meaning, I will only pin insulin on my back day that week.  the next week, I will pin on leg day.  But, the peptides I will now cycle by use everyday into muscle trained for one month on, one month off.  This protocol has been my elixir of choice as I am still making tremendous gains, but have evened out very nicely.

When it comes to competing, I am national competitor.  I've taken a hiatus for the past 4 years to really perfect in my eyes what I wish to bring to the table when I get back on stage. Maybe one day I would like that pro card, but it's not the end all if you know what I mean ;). The crazy part is gang, I don't lift heavy.  People say I'm one big f*in dude, but I tell them, high-intensity, blood-filled gorging muscle is the key to my growth (stretching the fascia).  The only thing I go very heavy on are deadlifts.  Most of my training focuses on squeezing the muscles hard during sets (14-16-18-20 reps) and static flexing of the trained body part between sets. As an ectomorph, that has allowed me to grow faster than guys I see at the gym throwing up 400 pounds on the bench or even squats ... not me guys.

With everything that I've listed, the INSULIN I use right before my workout ultimately helps me to deliver more key nutrients and FASTER! to the damaged muscle tissue that I F* UP HARD in the gym.  The AAS and HGH/IGF/PEG agents allow me to RECOVER FASTER!!! Combined with the proper nutrient protocol during my training and post and from there on is what truly makes all this come together and work FOR ME.

I couldn't have done this without the help of other respected experts that have taught me through the years on what to do and what NOT TO DO.  All this stuff ... we're talking about here, is to be respected.  The moment you stop respecting the game, the game stops respecting you.

Hope you enjoyed the read, if you have any questions or comments ... Please feel free to post or to contact me.  Friend requests are welcome! Be safe guys ...

Thanks for the reply brotha!

Stretching the fascia for ectomorphs is key. Mesomorphs, and endomorphs can even have muscle groups that have thicker tighter fascia which makes for body parts thst so calked lag behind. Hany Rambod suggest stretching and flexing betwern sets to stretch fascia. I've read up on his FST-7 quite a bit.

I've read here lately that the pro's are taking more moderate doses of aas. Imo it's good, but you also have to consider these guys have reached their genetic limits, and moderate doses are all that's needed for maintenance. Of course a moderate dose to a pro might seem like extreme doses for a newb lol

Its obvious you have lots of experience, and knowledge to offer. Look forward to more post from you!

I would say for the most part, the top level guys are just genetically gifted from the start.  Adding on the additions coupled with hard training and discipline allows them to benchmark the league with true freakishness!

Thanks for the kind words Dolf, I wouldn't want to meet you in some dark alley ... you'd army ranger my ass whether I was big or tiny ... TINY!!!!!!!!!!

Man I put my body and joints through a beating back in my Army days. I was young, stubborn, prideful, and had a never quit attitude. I don't regret one bit of it, but my joints can feel it today 20 years later. Like the Toby Keith song says " I'm not as good as I once was, but I'm as good once as I ever was."

That's why as of late I've quit fucking with heavy ass loads of weight. Moderate weight is a lot more forgiving.

Honestly, I think you have your protocol down. I would do very similar with that set up.

I don't know your daily total of HGH but I pulse 2iu - 3 times a day and plan on bringing in lr3 very soon. Was going to DES with MGF but i have a good amount of lr3 and limited DES on hand right now.
