Yeah, you're right. Right now, a large number of guys want to go into IT. This is due to the excellent pay and the lack of a growth margin. Unfortunately, I don't have those skills, but I would like to learn that as well.

I'm currently trying to develop more in the healthcare system. I don't work as a doctor but I am involved in data analysis. It's quite a complicated field, but it's also interesting. But for those who dreamed of helping people, it's worth discovering find out the process of becoming a nurse. It's not as difficult as being a doctor, there's also less time to study, but it's a noble profession that you can't do without.

I've heard such horror stories about being a border force officer. I mean I'm well aware of the trauma a paramedic goes through. My favorite coworker was a paramedic for 20 years... the stories... jesus... I can't even share them with my girl. But my cousin in Texas was a border patrol officer for like 2 years... he couldn't take it anymore.
Anyway I guess this is me saying thank you for everything you've been through.

2 years is what I managed - absolute nightmare. Much prefer sticking my fingers on body parts!

Seems like you guys left for similar reasons.
He got the job like so many others because he wanted to help people. He later told me... he didn't feel like he was helping anyone. I don't want to get into the politics or anything like that.
But from what he's told me and what I've heard from others... you have to be a certain type of person to do that job. And most people... don't like that kind of person.

I almost got a gig in border patrol.
When the opportunity was withdrawn I was bummed out, but then I started hearing more about it and paying more attention and was very glad to have dodged that bullet.
I hope you have found yourself in a profession more suitable
And my hat is off to you and I give you much respect for what you have done as far in the field.
