I had it once it is scarey. I became too use to not having it and became sloppy one day. The best way in my opinion to avoid it is to when you put your in on a 45 degree angle of course. pull back a bit before you push down on the plunger to see if blood floods in. If it does then you hit a vein so pull it out and try somewhere else.
