Woke up, insane quadricep soreness

I worked out quads about two days ago and yesterday didn't feel that much sore only when i flexed. Then i began running at a high pace and felt them a little more. When i was sleeping i kept flexing them just to feel that lactic acid pain. So i wake up today to an extreme soreness... it doesn't let me put my knees straight and i'm walking all mongolic.. ive given massages to them but doesn't seem to relieve it... any advice?

Doing some light cardio will help push the lactic acid out but other then that just let it goes its natural course man lol when my workout partner started working out with me his legs got so sore he had to throw him self off the shitter for the next week
