Loaded bb with semi light weight on flat bench...lowered weight, pressed up, racked it, pulled up my chest to the bar, lowered back down to bench, and repeated for reps. Felt pretty good...somethin different....

Ever hear of the "Purvis Press"? It is where you grab a bench, dumbs and the ankle cuffs and set up as if you are benching inside of the cable machine. You then strap your wrists/forearms with the ankle cuffs to a relatively light weight on the cable machine. Lay on the bench and have someone load you up with the dumbs. Now press... it is like a press and a flye at the same time. 

 

Yeah, I've tried it... If you ask me, it's a lot of work setting up and (albeit figuratively) a pain in the a$$. It is different though...
