Cardio don't matter?

On one of my replies the dude was telling me that basically cardio only burns calories.
I'm not a muscle head like lotta u guys here, I'm all bout cardio though. I recently finished a cycle and am glad I did it despite the complete fukking it up.
Cardio is good for every aspect of strength training, bodybuilding etc etc.
I'm just taken back by that and I don't know how to mssg the guy that told me cardio is only to burn off calories that u shouldn't b putting on in the first place.
I respectfully gotta call bullshit on that.

Never have I done cardio but I only rest 30 seconds between sets and am soaked when I’m done with a hour workout. So I guess I do cardio.

I need that hour of clarity and conditioning. I don't have any muscles but I don't want em either.

Cardio is awesome.
If you just lift weights and don’t do cardio you won’t be as healthy as someone who does cardio.
Cardio helps in more ways than burning fat. It helps blood flow. Helps you build muscle if you have a good diet and training.
Depending on the cardio you do you can also build muscle but it’s a slow way to build muscle.
High intensity weight lifting is like cardio. You do sets of 20 to 40 and have short breaks it will work like cardio.
I used to do bicep curls while driving the truck.
Sets of 40 with aircon on full. I would have sweat poring off my forehead.

That's good shit. It's good to hear a muscle head say that. It gets neglected in the gyms. I do strength training but I use a lot lighter weights and mostly machines, but lately I've been expanding the ol horizons and incorporating free weights too.

I use pretty light weight also. Mostly machines with light weight . You can make great gains by pumping as much blood into the muscle as you can and it will grow. I like muscle head😂 almost want to change my name here to that 😂. All joking aside cardio is good for u and I believe we all need it I just get mine a different way because bikes and treadmills drive me crazy 👍

I feel ya on that, I don't care for bikes n treadmills myself . I like the elipticals and even though I'm not doin em right now I hate but love burpees.
Dips n pullups too. I've put on a nice amount of muscle from this last cycle but it's not really what I was after. Either way, I got results and now I just gotta get the damn water buildup outta me. It's crazy, I can push on parts of my shins and actually feel the pockets of built-up water that has accumulated there. At least I can get my feet in my shoes again though. All this extra muscle is just more I gotta maintain if I'm to keep it or gravity does it's thing and I look like a true middle aged guy, In the future I'm gonna do for I'll do whatever it is I'm doing at the intended frequency and appropriate doses. Diet is the hardest thing for me though, I don't have alotta money so the ramens n all that stuff is sometimes all I can afford.

As a guy who has an mma background, I just can not see myself without cardio. 7-10 k jogging in the morning is something that I used to be doing for years now, and it keeps me lean even when I'm off cycle. I'm guessing that I would of gain some more muscle with not doing it, but being lean is what I would prefer to stay

I agree with tread mills and bikes suck. That’s why I’m doing a good 5 to 7 hours of Muay Thai kickboxing a week. At the end of the class doing 100 jump knees 100 push kicks then 100 sit-ups and I’m dying. But I go hard from the start and normally finish first. Then watch the younger ones slowly finish with out any sweat on them.
I’m dripping wet but that’s what happens with high haemoglobin apparently

But yeah... burning calories can be important...but almost everything you do is burning calories... even sleeping. I see no need to burn calories when trying to bulk... and most of us are trying to bulk.
You wouldn't puncture your car tire than put air in it... so why would I want to burn even more calories? 😂🤣

U said it yourself. "If your trying to bulk". That's at no point been on my roster. What one does for their cycle is specific to their needs so do what works for u. I realize that is alotta guys aim to bulk up.

And cardio is anything that gets your heart rate up and keep it there consistently. I'm not here to down talk bulking so there's no need for anyone to put cardio down.

Oh... sex... you should of just said so. Then I'm a big fan of cardio (not sure about the spelling 😂😉)
But even if I was going to cut... I would just correct my diet, Lift in a deficit. I'm not downing you
I'm just being a dick... but fuck cardio. I have 0 interest in it. But trust me I get that people are different. But to answer your original post... you don't need cardio.
I've put on 50lbs of muscle over the past 2 years, around 12ish % body fat... never do any real cardio. Maybe hit my heavy bag sometimes, but that's for abs and obliques. Sex is the only cardio I do brother.

Holy hell man... I'm not putting you down, or giving you cycle advice. I didn't realize that you were a brand new member.
Trust me... I give great cycle advice.
I was literally just trying to be funny.. because we've had the "how important is cardio" talk here a few times.
But you answered your own question in the very beginning. cardio can be a very good thing no matter what your end result is.
Bodybuilding, strongman, crossfit..
But is it necessary for all of us? No... do I put it first? No

I swear I wasn't trying to be malicious... I was just being funny. If you want to put cardio first.. you'll probably live longer than me. Do what makes you happy, at the end of the day that's all that matters.
Cardio makes me extremely unhappy.

But again I am sorry brother, I really didn't mean to upset you... definitely not my goal or how I'm known on this forum.
But I am curious about how you fucked up your cycle and why you think that?
Despite our first interaction, I really do care about your overall health and progress with your exercise goals.
