Just curious on how long a test e only cycle should be ran for and if any pct is needed

yes. if your T levels are high enough before starting the cycle (that's why is important to check them before the cycle starts), a PCT is important unless you want to remain on testosterone from now on.

You really should research more about Post Cycle Therapy.

I have some nolvadex already I’m just wondering about dosages and if there’s anything else I should take as well I’ve never ran a test e only cycle before and am still pretty new to everything

that's highly individual. Some are doing well with Nolvadex alone during PCT.
PCT plan starts when all steroids are out of system (with Test E that's around 2 weeks). usually, that's a 4 week plan. it goes like: first 2 weeks Nolvadex 40 mg/day and then last 2 weeks 20 mg/day.
PCT is important if you want to stay natural and not planning to run testosterone for your entire life. It helps get the levels of testosterone back to where to used to be pre-cycle (that's why PCT is only for those who have normal T levels naturally before starting the cycle).

Nolvadex and Clomid are common.
what's your age? checked T levels?
Beginner 4 weeks and max user 12-18 weeks and pct can be Proviron or Clomid or taxomixen

Minimum 12 weeks I would say is average.
u will need pct protocol Nolvadex clomid hcg.
