Went to a big county fair yesterday. Thousands and thousands of people. My girl and I dressed in matching outfits.. but reverse. I have white shoes, red shorts, white shirt (white belt, red watch and white sunglasses) she had red shoes, white shorts, red shirt. (Red belt, white watch and red and black sunglasses) So to say we got our fair share of looks is an understatement. Lots of fat rednecks who I'm pretty sure don't own a mirror.
But here's the thing... I saw 3 different guys who clearly worked out. 2 of them were extremely similar to my body type and one was a fuckin monster. You could clearly tell he was on gear.
But those 3 dudes gave me the dirtiest looks of everyone there.
Why can we get along so well on a forum... But in the real world treat one another like shit?
I got excited to see other dudes that lift... Like this dude is going to get the nod of respect... And maybe even strike up a conversation.
But no... They looked at me like a threat and then avoided eye contact until they felt safe to give me a dirty look.
I have to say.. it kinda hurt.
Maybe this forum has given me a false sense of brotherhood with other dudes who lift?
Or is it just in us to see other guys who lift as a threat?
Or do I dress so... Different even my own kind doesn't like me?
Not that id change how I dress.. but I wasn't even wearing pink... Or Barbie.. or an offensive shirt.

I don't know... what do you guys think?

Also... Out of probably 15,000 people I only saw 3 in good shape... That's fuckin sad.

shirts or belts?
really love your collection tbh
I ordered 5 more shirts and 1 more belt. Needed a purple belt. And my girl told me she really likes how I look in racer back shirts, so I ordered 4 more in different colors and a horror shirt to match my pants

And thank you, lots of people have been giving me shit for my sense of style.
But... I don't have any vices, I don't even drink soda. So showing off my body is my thing.
It's like owning a nice car... Are you going to cover it and keep it in the garage... Or wax it, cover it in chrome and show that bitch off?

because steroids are bad :ROFLMAO:

i guess because they were friends and they saw another alpha male. i mean... you said it yourself, there were 15,000 people and 14,995 (besides those three, you and your gf) were fat fucks... which means no "competitors". but males compete with one another without even realizing it. so, you were the only real opponent. or maybe i think of it too hard and they just had too much tren in their system :ROFLMAO:
So showing off my body is my thing.
looking good you waxed and chromed sexy bitch :sneaky:(y)

They weren't friends... At least I never saw them together. But yeah... I was expecting the respect nod... and instead was avoided and then got a mean mug.
Even my girl noticed it. But...it is what it is. Just weird how we can get along so well on a forum.

And yeah... I've been leaning hard into the loud obnoxious look 🤣🤣

this doesn't change the competitiveness thing... they must've looked like that at each other too

Yeah I wish I could have seen their individual reactions to one another.
since I've got some size on me... How people look at and treat people in public has been a big .. "hobby" (Not sure if that's the right word, literally just woke up) Of mine.
I watch average person after average person pass one another like 2 ships in the night. Yet those same people either smile at me, approach me or give me a look like they caught me fuckin their mother. I'm just fascinated by it.
I should also say where I live there's not many guys who look like me. It's extremely rare to see another guy who works out. And usually if they do they are a bit older and more of a powerlifter type.
I bet in the past 4 years I haven't seen 10 other guys with visible abs. It's not like Florida, Cali... Texas or even New Jersey. Sometimes I really feel like an alien in public.
But... I also know I stick out like crazy for more reasons than just a bit of muscle

obesity has become more and more of an issue lately.
the amount of sugar people tend to eat is like 10x larger than it used to be only 20-30 years ago.

Bro .. I wish I was making this up... But when we were there I saw a very large family of 6 people. Looked like mom, dad, grandfather and 3 kids. All of them were extremely obese. The grandfather was in a wheelchair... His one foot was amputated and his other leg was amputated below the knee. He was shoving the biggest funnel cake I've ever seen into his mouth. While that is happening... I'm assuming his grandson... Maybe 7,8,9 years old and what I would imagine weighing 170lbs... Talking massively overweight... Kool aid red stained face is pointing at a food stand and saying very loudly "Cookies... Cookies... Cookies..." And his... I'm assuming mother is saying "in a minute honey, in a minute"
I was so... Disgusted... And angry by the whole thing. I wanted to slap the funnel cake out of the dudes mouth and scream at the mother "THIS IS YOUR SONS FUTURE IF YOU DON'T STOP, HE DOESN'T NEED ANY FUCKIN COOKIES"
But instead my girl and I just kinda watched in horror as dude continued to shove the funnel cake in his mouth and the dad took the boys hand to get in line for the cookies. And by "cookies" I mean giant cookies the size of a large dinner plate.

What has happened to people... I don't know if it's bad information or laziness... Or just plain ignorance... But the whole thing makes me extremely angry.
Not to mention they had a big sale on their "fair cups" it was $10 and unlimited refills for what had to be a half gallon cup that looked like a small bucket. I'll see if I can find a picture. But so many people had them.

So yeah... I feel you brother, I just watched it first hand

Found a picture
